Berlin Meeting with
Singapore Foreign Minister Prof. Jayakumar

In June 2000
interested lawyers, taking the opportunity of Singapore Prime
Minister Goh Chok Tong's state visit to Berlin, met with Foreign
and Law Minister Prof Jayakumar and the ambassadors of both
countries, EH Prof Dr Walter Woon and EH Volker Schlegel. All
three expressed their deep interest and support.

Meeting

The inaugural meeting of the Association
was held on 17 July 2000 in Berlin.

- 11 November 2000
A follow-up meeting on 11 November
2000 was concluded to lay the ground for the Association's further
activities, in particular the successful staging of the Singapore
conference in 2001.
